EOC Week 7; The Pitch

Green on the go!
The demand for healthier food is on the rise and I think it should be! We should promote and help people to eat better for themselves, not saying hamburger, fries and a shakes are horrible, but health wise it will eventually take a toll on you. Now yes it may be hard to keep the salad fresh but like other fast foods it has been done. I think by persuading people to eat healthier would help a lot, for example people with health problems that can’t eat greasy fast food. Green on the go will make some kind of salad, vegetable or fruit mixes that taste just as good or even better, same thing with drinks we need to also promote healthier drinks as well. Being a photographer I would spread the word by pictures, I would have a food truck that drives around town with these pictures and sells the food.  I would have social media set up and show healthy how the comparison pictures of people with healthy and not healthy food. Then I would have side comments of how they perceived healthier food over your regular hamburger, fries and shakes. I would also set up a time and a place for everyone to discuss if they like the food or not. Pictures of how food actually looks always pushes that want for whatever food they are craving. These pictures will be pure reality of what you would get and it would taste just as fresh as it looks. I would promote this in situations where people are pressured to eat unhealthy foods at events like harvest festival, rock concerts, or other shows that have those typical unhealthy foods. I would promote it anywhere because I really want to push people to eat healthier. When people see the green on the go truck go by they are going to wonder where the restaurant or fast food is too. Well I would have a fast food shack also; the menu will consist of peoples favorites, chefs favorites or make your own dish!
One of the drinks I would have included on the menu would be called, Strawmelon freeze- Watermelon, strawberries and agave syrup a very fun and healthy drink!

Another item would be a healthy Caesar salad!

EOC Week 6: Me + 3

Three things that really define me?
Well there is one, but it is pretty obvious my Sony camera. My camera defies me because it is something I use everyday and I love to. Without my camera I wouldn't be able to capture those beautiful moments in life and I really appreciate the beauty in life. It is my hobby and something I love to do everyday, I could never see myself without my camera because somehow I would find a way to still take photographs.

My hair dye defies me in a way to show my personality. It shows the different personalities I have, I can go from fiery red and fun to platinum blonde and sweet. But whatever color I'm still fun and sweet with whatever color I choose to show it. This is also something I love to do I love trying new things and it so happens that I like to try new colors all the time and I always go to the same kind of hair dye.

Last but not least a ring my parents gave me when I was little, I think it defies me in a way that shows how much I've grown and gone through. It also reminds me that I've come to peace with myself over the years. I went through a lot and lost myself at one point and who I was. My ring represents who I was when I got it and I finally got back to where I was, my own personality not what people wanted me to be.

Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting

“It’s not really about sales; it is about sharing of information. If you go about it in a way that is positive and relatable, it’s a positive experience for [both parties].” This quote pretty much says it all! If you have a job and it is something you love, it makes it better and easier for you and the customers. If you find a job and you compare to another job that just pays more what would you choose? Well that could be a hard decision, but you have to weigh out all your responsibilities. If you do end up giving up that job you love for something that supports you, it is what was meant to be. That's what makes job hunting and doing the job right so hard, if you don't love the job how are you going to explain their company product or how their products works? When you’re someone who love where they work it makes the whole experience better just like the quote said and you will love doing your job. When you don't love doing your job it can really change who you are and make you miserable, you don't want to work somewhere that doesn't make you happy. Social networking actually can really help people post on social media about job openings all the time. If your friends with people who know what kind of job you’re looking for you've got connections to help you find that perfect job. Although not very many people get hired over social media, but it is becoming a thing. In a business or a job you do it should always be about the customer and if it's not then that should be a red flag that they're not about their employees either. If a job doesn't care about their customers why would they care about you? When you go job hunting always pay attention to the things that will benefit you and make you happy, because in the end that's all that should matter!

Week 4 EOC: New Phone App

Back to life app, we need to be in touch with reality. This would be good for this generation and the growing generation, because we are so wrapped up on our phones we don't pay attention to their surroundings. This app would be an app that you can set up on your phone that will automatically turn off. You could just turn off your phone or put it in sleep mode, but that's the problem we are so addicted to our phones that even if we did do that we can still get back onto our phone. When this app in set into motion your phone will completely be unavailable for the time you set it for a day or a couple hours. Our problem is that we constantly feel the need to know what's going on in people’s lives, rather than our own. We focus so much on social media that we forget to really appreciate life itself. Rather than sitting on your couch at home looking at someone's post, use back to life app and this will force you to do something besides look at social media. Of course there will still be other problems like having a computer or you might just go to sleep. With this app it will force you to stay off social media; therefore, you may be happier with how your day turned out instead of regretting it. When you do use this app you'll realize how much you really miss out on in life itself. Look at your surroundings and you'll realize you do need help staying off your phone, because while you’re sitting next to your friend or loved one you’re missing out on a true moment of connection. Get back to life, and have a happier life!

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

We are the age of the Millennials, we embrace technology maybe a little too much. We were the age where technology came to life, and now that we have all these things we barely see life, through our phones. We create things through our technology rather than connecting with true life. Before us people had to go out, get people together or mail our a letter, but we can just send a text, post a status, or email someone. We also don't make true connections with people because we are so consumed in what's going on in our phone that we don't even acknowledge the person sitting next to us. We have conversations through text, not face to face, but we are confident and willing to try new things. That's why the markets likes to target at us, and try to get our attention. We're very optimistic and independent, we like to be our own and explore what we haven't. Most Millennials don't look into having a family, they would rather focus on having fun and making a living. We want to work for a reason, we don't just want a job. We want something that provides us with value our quality life. We are also the best educated, but we get paid the worst. Our worst problem is our school loans, while we are trying to save for things and plan, we're too busy we student loan debt. Although we are still growing we are growing rapidly and shaping the world we live in.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money For Good

COCA-COLA
Coca-Cola gives through there company, they don't just give to one cause. They give water mostly, but they also promote other contributions like recycling, active healthy living, education, wellness, local community initiatives, humanitarian/ disaster relief and in kind contributions. The fact that they give so much and still make a movement. Its amazing what someone can do by just handing out water or helping people with there lifestyle, just to help someone out. They partner up with companies, because they know they couldn't do these contributions without them. "Partnering with Coca-Cola is an opportunity to give nature a voice when business decisions are made. This is how we’re conserving the watersheds and other natural resources that sustain us all. But business and conservation must be two sides of the same coin if we are to be successful - so together, we are setting and achieving goals that drive lasting results and conserve the planet’s finite natural resources while also meeting business objectives". They help all kinds of people in so many ways its amazing, they put there feelings aside just to give back. They've helped college students slim down while they bone up; They build better school in the Philippines; They help when disaster strikes families; they help is never ending and they're always trying to find a new way to help people live better lives. Their company is so popular and so many people buy there products. Many people don't know that when they are buying a can or 24 pack of Coca-Cola, they're helping the world be a better place too. There are so many things we can do as a community to give back, we just don't realize it.
